Today I will comment on the solution to the error of "Image I/0" in Windows 7 to upload an image DDS in 3ds max 8. Anyone using Windows vista/7 and got this error is a way to fix it. 1- Go to folder: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3dsMax8\stdplugs\dxplugins 2- Move the files dds.bmi and dxDDS.bmi directory: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3dsMax8\stdplugs\ 3- When you start 3ds max you will have 2 error messages. Ignore these messages. Try to load a texture in DDS format and ready. Thx for read. Edited by MUERTE on 30-05-2011 14:50
