You know the bug - it usually appears when a map used to have a custom skinpack in it and it was removed.
And even when you check the folders you do not find any files that indicate what is causing the problem - it's like a phantom.
So here is my approach - and please let me know if there is a simpler or cleaner alternative.

1. Place Texture-Cube-.BES-Files in the Folder Levels/Mapname/Data/Mapname/Skins.

2. Place all Texture-Cubes underneath the Map.

3. Rebuild TexDB & Reload Scene.

4. Delete all Cubes that show their Texture correctly and keep the white ones.

5. Move only the (default) .DDS-Files for the Blocks shown in white into Levels/Mapname/Tex.

6. Rebuild TexDB.

7. Finalize your Map.

Note that some Texture-Cube-.BES-Files are still missing, but i will create and upload them later.
