I started making maps for games like Duke Nukem 3DA or Quake (1). Over time I got to know games where I was excited about certain maps and I wanted to create them in Vietcong. An example is the Eder dam from the game Call of Duty (1). If successful, I'll unpack the game and use the source. It usually takes a lot of work. But the maps are created in Radiant and the work with it is immense. I almost broke my teeth on the G_Lab_X map. I have spent hundreds of hours modifying objects. Part of this map is from the great but forgotten Slovak game Chaser. So I ended up looking for an Eder model on the internet. I just managed to find a VRML model of the Hoover Dam. I converted it to 3DS Max and actually only used the outline for the dimensions, the rest is my own creation. So don't be surprised if you find Eder elements at the top.
