Offline Member Posts: 197 Joined: 26.04.11 Location: Northern NSW Gender: male Age: 49 Warnings:	Hi I run 2 servers 1.01 and 1.6 and every day I have the server Auto shutdown and restart As 1.6 has vcded.exe to run a dedicated server and with "D:\Vietcong 1.60\vcded.exe" aur.ded I have my 1.6 auto start on every time the server restarts. With 1.01 is there a server pack with the file vcded.exe that I can do the same thing? on every server start up 1.01 gives an error message Vietcong creshed or uncommon program termination detected. would you like default settings [yes] or [no] yes or no don't matter because my startup shortcut is D:\Vietcong\vietcong1.exe -dedicated D:\Vietcong\Dedicated\aur.ded and all i need to do is click on either yes or no and then the server continues to auto start. because I have to use file vietcong.exe with 1.01 is why I get this error, everyday I have to remote connect to my server to start 1.01 if there isn't vcded.exe server files for 1.01 is there something I can do to stop this error so I don't need to connect to my server to start 1.01.

Offline Member Posts: 197 Joined: 26.04.11 Location: Northern NSW Gender: male Age: 49 Warnings:	Thankyou Vlatka for your reply I have tried that already but the problem is I run more then 1 vc server on the same computer Server2008 rc2 64bit 8gb ram 2T hdd; VC controller will work with the first vc server that starts and in most cases it is 1.6 but I can't run VC controller more then once for say about 6 vc servers. MAYBE!! is there away to use the vc1.2 update files with 1.01 as the 1.2 update has the file I want but the log.dll and maybe some other dll's need editing to make the vcded.exe work with 1.01

It is possible that it can be in root of c:\ but we don't know the name. There is also pten logfile. I tried to make my game to crash but no success when I need it :-D (It will crash during play, ofcourse - Murphy's law). So my advice - when the game crashed try to find crash log file and delete it. This doing my program... Just need to live him alone and this version will work for any port only you will not see ip addresses connected to server...
