Water Reflection
Hey there,

I hope there is an easy way to explain the method of making reflective water surfaces? Working on a map that could need a swamp and why not a reflective one?

apfelbaum is not a beautiful option to simulate realtime / environment reflection. the only way is that you make a transparent texture as water and then duplicate the map, mirror it and put it under your map. but only duplicate the objects / ground near the water, so that it doesn't take to much from the performance. after all that you can place sectors, so when you are in the water you see the swamp ground instead of the duplicated objects.

I know what you mean but there are reflective swamps. On second thought I won't attempt to make it reflective on the current map because of rain as well. Thanks apfelbaum for explaining, think I roughly know again what it was about.
