Vietcong Singleplayer Error

Hi I was playing vietcong singleplayer mode

and when I went to play gave an error

the error and always in the same place

in vietcong fist alpha the same thing happens

I use version 1.60

can someone help me? Shock

I guess you are crashing? Use VCStarter (v1.5.1) to fix this.

The game is slow with VCStarter only?
Try disabling "Improve texture filtering" and "Limit FPS ...".
You can also try with v1.4.1 which doesn't include the Direct3D 8 to 9 conversion.

What are your hardware specs?

Yes the game and slow with only VC starter


Processor:Intel(R)Atom(TM) CPU D525 @1.80GHz 1.79GHz

memory installed (RAM):2,00GB

type of system:32 bit operating system

Windows 7 Ultimate

installed the VC Starter (v1.41) and it worked VC


just that my anti virus detects virus

Sorry for that, it's because in v1.4, I "packed" my program vcguard.dll into the vietcong.exe. As this is normally not possible under windows, it's considered as a "hack" and gives false alarms sometimes.
I changed that in v1.5.

the version 1.50 and too slow

I will stick with version 1.41

I love the songs of vietcong music
