Hi guys. I just installed VC 2 but it won't work on my computer. When I click on the VC2 shortcut and then press "OK", the game won't start. Sometimes if I really look closely, I can see VC2 appear and then in 1/2 seconds go away.. I tried all resolutions, but didn't work. I tried without sounds and windowed mode, but didn't work either. Can anybody help me please.. I have a "Intel Core 2 Duo E6550" computer with a "Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family" (256 Mb's) and Windows 7 Ultimate. Please help me!!
I don't know if vc starter works with vc2 or not, could try that, it sounds like the sound bug I got with vc1, I plugged in a set of headphones and vc1 started ok. Silent Bob posted a fix for the sound bug on this site, but I could not find the post.
Dunno if Ptero-Engine-3 in VC2 requires an active recording device as Ptero-Engine-II does but the fix is based on that.
You need to enable the Stereo Mix (it is disabled by default) or use a microphone.

Vietcong 2 isn´t be able to install on protected Windows System, because it´s Spy-Software on it.
I have Norton Antivirus version and it blocks to install the game. It´s impossible to set a rule for that game or an access.
