Hi
I could work this one out my self over a few hours but thought I will ask here as well
for a better & faster way of finding out and maybe help others to know as well if there interested.


I am making a coop map soon with custom skins to suit the cc_chief [bahnar]or[jarai]

I want to use the chief as the VC coop fighter.
Do I need to edit the coop.c and the default_aiviet.ini
or for an example do I rename the ccp_chief.bes to cvp_poorvc.bes and include that renamed bes in my map.

Don't modify coop.c, just create your new model, next create ini file in vietcong\ini\players directory (define there your object model) and then use it in your AI script, for example

#define INIFILENAME "ini\\players\\new_chief.ini"

Thanks for that, to be clear on this.

first create my new model "example called" new_chief.bes and include that new model in my map [also including dds skin]
then go to vietcong\ini\players directory and create a new ini file called new_chief.ini and edit the ini to change to my new .bes model
and then change my AI script/edit the command from #define INIFILENAME "ini\\players\\BLACKPAJAMA_VC_QF.INI
to #define INIFILENAME "ini\\players\\new_chief.ini

would this be correct.

I keep getting error EndRule unsopported: 2 when trying to play the map to test it. but if finalizes ok. any idea what this error is?
maybe my coop script!!!

You probably didn't select for coop time, points.. or if i remember good one of this 3 are not supported in coop. try only include time. then test time.

I took out the points and left the time only.
works good now
