Hello I play for a long time Vietcong 1.60 and join for a long time servers made by other players. So I never actually thought about making a server on my one you know. So a few weeks later I decided to try to make a server so I asked a friend for joining my server but he did not see my server now actually nobody see's my server. So here ís my question: How can I make a server that people can see?

At first you need public IP address. So ask your ISP if you have it. If not, you cannot setup server.

Second - if you are behind router, you need to forward ports to your server PC (try to search here at forum, you should find it which ports are needed). About setting your router check manual or with google Smile

And last thing - when setting your server don't forget to check box Share on internet.

About troubleshooting - you can try to ask friends to connect with direct connection (your IPPfftort, for example 217.195.168.2:5425). If it will work and only server is not visible in list, you need to forward master server list port in router settings.

If they are not able to connect, you can try to connect PC directly to WAN cable (cable modem etc...) without router. If they will connect, problem is router. If not, try to add vcded.exe and vietcong.exe as firewall exceptions.

If still not possible to connect, contact your internet provider and ask if you have public IP.

Well I searched on the forums, but I didn't find a thread about IP ports settingsFrown
