Material penetration
I'm investigating bullet penetration capabilities in Vietcong. It seems that 'go_thru' parameter in materials' conf files is controlling it. I can't seem to find how to change it based on type of ammunition used. 'm_piercing' values in weap.txt seem to not affect penetration at all. Anyone know how it's done?

//`m_piercing [dw_value] pruraznost skrz materialy, pokud je hodnota materialu mensi,
// strela leti dal, jinak se zastavi,

Where the penetration values for materials are defined?

I haven't the answer to your question but during my tests, I noticed that depending of the wood textures used, some were more "penetrable" than others...
For example, with the wood texture used for the "external bunkers" at Nui Pek, 2 bullets on 5 (around) are passing through the wood to hit the players.
With some other wood textures, the bullets aren't passing at all.
Maybe it will help you to digg in your investigations... Wink
