Do you have NioGianh1.2 map in Maps folder? If so, remove it and then try to start game again. Seven years ago, I downloaded this version on former German website Vietcong-Friends.de. It is interesting that both versions are compatible with each other and files cbf and dat have the same size in both versions. Version from Vietcong Friends website contains txt file with this notice in German languague: Diese ist die modifizierte NioGianh1.2! Der Waffensound (M1) in der Version 1.2 entsprach nicht dem Original. Diese modifizierte Version stellt den originalen Waffensound der M1 wieder her.
